CEIOPS has now published its QIS2 Summary Report, documenting fully the findings of QIS2.  Click here to read the full report, or read a summary in the form of the official press release

Also, on 10th November 2006, CEIOPS published Consultation Paper 20, addressing pillar 1 modelling issues stemming from discussion and quantitative impact studies up to that point. The document addresses both the standard formula modelling approach, full internal models and hybrid modelling approaches employing both internal and standard modelling elements.  It also has sections on the adequacy of financial resources, valuation standards, capital, minimum capital requirement (MCR), safety measures and special treatments.  Click here to download the full document.
